Zuckerberg Recalls All. (Shared With Public Nine Years Ago)

You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one.

I hope someday you’ll join us. And the world will live as one. – John Lennon

Say what you will about Meta Zuckerberg, but at least he keeps track of our memories.

Like this nocturnal mind trip to Texas from December 19, 2012.

I had a dream last night.

A wild-eyed young man

dressed completely in black

burst into a breakfast meeting

of the NRA.

Wielding a Bowie knife,

the young man

managed to stab

and kill

a dozen gun rights advocates

before being subdued

by a waiter,

who snuck up

behind him

and smashed

the wild-eyed young man

dressed completely in black

with a glass carafe

of pulpless orange juice.

Though stricken with grief,

a NRA spokesman said,

“This proves our point.”

Immediately,

there was a call for duller knives.

Others wondered

if all breakfast meetings

should be supplied

with glass carafes.

MSNBC suggested orange juice

might not be just for breakfast.

Fox noted

God didn’t make pulpless oranges.

I awoke in a cold sweat.

A gunman killed four people and wounded at least three others, including a police officer, during a series of shootings in the Denver area on Monday, the police said.

The suspect, whom the authorities did not immediately identify, died during a shootout.

The authorities were seeking a motive after the shootings, which occurred across several locations in and near Denver, Colorado’s capital.

Paul M. Pazen, the Denver police chief, told reporters during a news conference: “This is the holiday season. To have this type of spree take place is not normal for our community.”
