The Central Intelligence Agency 

has been sending teams of commandos 

to kill alleged terrorists overseas, 

despite an Obama-era effort 

to cease the use of “assassination squads” 

by the agency, 

according to a report from BuzzFeed News. 

The “small number” of units

are reportedly coordinated 

by the agency’s Special Activities Center (SAC) 

whose primary mission is to kill terrorists 

“on the ground.” 

The CIA denied the existence 

of such a program. 

The SAC has reportedly been 

on a “recruitment and hiring and acquisition binge” 

under the Trump administration. 

CIA director Mike Pompeo, 

recently tapped by President Trump 

to be our next secretary of state, 

reportedly “first pushed 

for these lethal ground operations.”

Tonight I looked 

at my wife, 

and I said
