The Commitment Hearing

Go out and make your own speeches. People need you. Go on TV. It can be done. After you speak up a few times, people say, “Hey, we got a crazy man in the community,” and they’ll begin talking to you. – Ray Bradbury

Plump Pimpled
Public Defender swears
just like the last time
there's nothing wrong
with me
and my rights
are being squashed
and right about here
is where
I lost
the sound
of his voice,
let alone the content.
Curvaceous
Court-Appointed Psychiatrist
testifies
I am not a danger
to myself
or others.
See, right there,
somebody
should challenge her credentials.
I'd really like to take her
out to lunch,
if you know what I mean,
but you can't say shit
like that more.
That's just insane.
You'll get in trouble.

Okay. Well, then.
They say I am fine.
Would be crazy
to argue with them.
And I'm not crazy, right?
Right??

I'm talkin' to YOU.

Rather look at the Corrs than Peter Stipe, but that’s just me. Crazy, huh?
