“…To study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly … to listen to stars and buds, to babes and sages, with open heart; await occasions, hurry never … this is my symphony.” – William Henry Channing
This is my symphony. This is my movie.
My life is a musical and I am the principal male dancer. Something of a superhero in manly tights. My job to toss lithe nymphs into the air and catch them before they disappear into puffs of angel dust.
A lifeguard at Weeki Wachee, I carried mermaids to the edge of the lagoon. Dropped them into the water, the smallest silver splashes.
Underwater I played bluesy tenor saxophone and dreamt of growing gills.
